Basic Makeup Kit For Beginners

hello Gorgeous !! Today in my beauty section i am going to share with you basic makeup products to have in your kit as a beginner.

And give you some basic information you need to know about them, i don t have them all but i hope this will help.

1. FOUNDATION

The first thing in my makeup kit is a moisturizer and primer but unfortunately i don t have them here.

It is very important to use a primer here is 3-reasons-why-you-should-use-a-primer.

Let us start with the foundation.

You should always choose the foundation that matches your skin tones and your skin type.

First you must know if your skin is oily or dry before choosing a foundation .

If your face is always shinny it means that you have an oily skin and the best foundation for you is matte foundation . if you have a dry skin  you should use a creamy foundation .

While choosing your foundation test it on your jawline not your wrist this is a common mistake some of us do.

Applying it on the jawline shows how it blends with your face and neck. Now i am using the foundation from Huda beauty.

2. SETTING POWDER

The setting powder helps the foundation to set,i use mac setting powder number  N45

3. EYE AND LIP LINER

For the eyeliner I use a black and brown eyeliner for my eyebrows.

I love having some lip liner it helps in the lips shaping and gives your lips some volume.

Here is my favorite liners either eye and lips liner.

4. LIPSTICK AND LIP GLOSS

If you are not a fan of red lipstick you can still use nude lipstick .

I use different type of lipstick and lip gloss depending on the occasion, place and weather.

5. MAKE UP BRUSHES

These are major elements needed to apply your make up perfectly.

It includes foundation brush, setting powder brush , concealer brush etc….

There is so many type of brushes i can not have them all cause i am not a professional makeup artist but at least you can have these in the picture below:

On the left it is an eye shadow brush used to apply the eye shadow across your eyelids.

The second one is the lash brow/ comb brush  used for your eye lashes.

The third one is the concealer brush and the last one is the powder brush .

Beauty blender : used to apply your foundation when you do not have any foundation brush.

It also blends the foundation perfectly than a foundation brush so i recommend a beauty blender over a foundation brush.

6. HIGHLIGHTER

A highlighter add a flawless look to your make up when you know how and where to apply it which can be tricky sometimes.

7. EYE SHADOW PALETTE

Don t forget to add eye shadows in your make up kit, i wear  eye shadows rarely due to my eye condition i have very sensitive eyelids so i don t usually apply it .

It is also one of my favorite which add a pop sheer color to your cheeks.

9.CLEANSING WATER AND MAKEUP WIPES

Cleansing water is used in the removal of make up at the end of the day.

I use GARNIER skin active Micellar cleansing water it helps me remove my make-up, impurities and is suitable for sensitive skin but is hard for me to find in my country.
