Happy new year of 2024, I hope this new year is being kind to you. We are starting the year with an amazing review and i am pretty sure that at the end of this blog you will get yourself an Allso beauty foundation.
In this blog i will share my experience using the Allso beauty Shea infusion foundation, the story behind the brand, my honest review, tips on how to apply and also some other amazing products you can get from Allso. I also realized this is my first Foundation review because i normally don’t wear foundation or heavy makeup but you know it is never too late to try something new so let’s dive into the review.
WHAT IS ALLSO BEAUTY ?
It is a custom at STYLED BY FRANCE that before any product review we get to know the brand because i believe that knowing the brand plays a big role in trusting the product.

1. THE PACKAGING
The shea infusion Allso Beauty foundation comes in a 30 ml glass container with a black pump, the glass feels nice and i love that it doesn’t reveal too much which gives an expensive vibe , the cap doesn’t feel too cheap and the pump is nice and smooth, i didn’t struggle using it for the first time and the products comes out nicely. It doesn’t spatter product everywhere. The whole foundation comes wrapped in a black cute box that gives elegant and gold ends which i loved because if you know me you know my love for black so it is a YAY for me.
I love the packaging because it gives bougie and elegant and i will give it a 9.5/10 the half remaining is for the pump i would have preferred an applicator because it makes the product application easy but overall the packaging is giving.
2. SHADE RANGE
The allso beauty foundation comes in 6 shades costing 9000 rwf each ( almost $9) that can suits every skin type and undertone, the shades are Zulu bronze and clove infusion foundation for black and brown skin type, the caramel brush, shea infusion and cinnamon glow foundation for the medium brown skin type and the coral braze foundation for fair skin type. This 6 shades range gives room to choose the foundation that can work for your skin complexion but i also feel like they need to be extended so that nobody feels left out especially for deep melanin skin types as we have seen other brands extend their collections from 6 to 40 shades because as black women we have different skin tones, undertones, hyperpigmentation etc… we need a wide range to choose from.
3. INGREDIENTS
The foundation is made of water cyclopentasiloxane, glycerin, isododecane, etylhexyl methoxycinnamate, silica , fragrance, aluminium hydroxide and other ingredients.
The pro’s is that the foundation doesn’t contain any paraben which is harmful to the skin.
4. THE EFFECTIVENESS
According to the website the foundation is said to “Give a healthy natural matte look with Allso Pore less Foundation. The exclusive formula features micro-powders to control shine and blur pores and offers you flawless, long wearing to improve your skin’s appearance with the benefits of long wearing, pore minimizing foundation , provide stay true color , instantly hydration , comfortable and lightweight feel.”
WEAR TEST
I wore this foundation for 8 hours and here is my experience :
Application : by applying the foundation on your skin it gives medium to full coverage i have dark spots and when i want to go for a full face makeup this foundation does help because it is very buildable if you want full coverage apply a large amount if you love minimal natural makeup go easy on this one because it is super buildable.
FINISH LOOK : It gives a matte finish, it suck in the oil and it gives a very flawless finish for people with oily skin this would be the best foundation also as mentioned on their website it blurs the pore and also doesn’t give a cakey finish but one tip you need to know with this foundation you have to BLEND, blending is the key here the more you blend the more it gets into your skin and gives a nice smooth finish.
On your skin it feels very lightweight at one moment i felt like i wasn’t wearing any makeup, during the application you can tell the product is thick but the moment you blend it well on your skin it feels so lightweight.
For the effectiveness i will give it a solid 10/10 you don’t need too much and the good thing is that it offers enough coverage for an everyday wear. I was impressed to be honest i was impressed.
WOULD I RECOMMEND THIS ?
I would recommend the foundation 100% it will give you full coverage at an affordable price and also it will be a way to support brands in Rwanda. Not only you can buy foundation they also have lipglosses, highlighter , eye makeup so make sure you visit their webstie here.
