Taking care of our skin is among our top priorities, we all want to have a healthy and glowing skin.
This does not only apply for women but men also use personal beauty products.
There tons of cosmetics products out there and it is very hard to choose which products to use.
What may work for me may not work for you that is why before buying any products you must do your research to be sure to buy something that is going to work for you.
It is also very important to know why you are going to buy that product, which problem do you want to solve while using that product?
It will give you an orientation on products to use.
In this blog post i am going to share with you 3 important things to consider before buying beauty products.
1. KNOW YOUR SKIN TYPE
The first thing to do before buying any beauty products is to know your skin type.
There are different types of skin like normal or balanced skin , oily and dry skin and so many brands take this into consideration when manufacturing their products.
If you have an oily skin just like mine go for oil free type of products, this apply for the type of foundation , moisturizer , primmer you use make sure you use oil free products.
When you have dry skin it is better to go for moisturizing and oil products.
For people with allergic and sensitive skin read the labels carefully to see the type of ingredients used if they can not harm your skin.
2. INGREDIENTS
This is a very crucial element to consider when buying cosmetic products.
After some research it was proven that some ingredients found in the beauty products that we use everyday can lead to serious health conditions like infection , cancer and allergic reactions.
Before buying the products check the ingredients used , the expiration date and also the warranty.
Avoid skin irritants like parabens and if you have a sensitive skin be careful when using products with alpha hydroxyl acid.

3. Product review
When i want to buy a certain personal care product i first make some research on the product and the brand as well.
I visit their website and look for review from other customers if they loved it or not , this give me an insight also to what i can expect from the product i am going to buy.
I search for you tube videos, blog post about the product and also while doing that i also search about the brand reputation so that i can trust their products.
If i don’t find any information about the brand i am not going to buy that product.
